Mary S. Montoya

Mary Montoya, passed away at the age of 81 on October 18, 2023. She was born on June 1, 1942, in Fort Collins, Colorado, to the late Cedro and Jennie Silva.

Mary’s life was one full of joy, laughter, and love, which she shared unselfishly with her family and friends. She had a gift for making people laugh, always sharing her humor and bringing a smile to everyone’s faces. Her sense of humor could make you blush, and she could roll with the punches like the best of them.

More than anything, Mary loved her family. She spent countless hours cooking delicious meals, inviting them over to her home, and feeding them until they were full. Her home was a haven for all who knew her, and people always felt welcome there. Mary’s hugs were legendary, and she gave them freely and often to anyone in need.

Her faith was an essential part of her life, and she worked tirelessly to guide people to God. She lived her faith, selflessly loving everyone and always reaching out and being available to those who needed her. She was active in her church. She played the piano and lead worship. She praised God through song and prayer.

Mary Montoya was a beautiful, vibrant, and loving woman who enriched the lives of everyone she knew. Her legacy will live on, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
