Margie Fay Carpenter, 87, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away September 5th, 2023. She was born February 29th, 1936, to Solomon and Anna Klein in Liberal, Kansas. On November 29th, 1957, Margie married her husband Henry Carpenter in Abilene, Kansas; They had three children together. Margie had worked for many years at the Albany County School District as one of the beloved lunch ladies.
She is survived by her two children Donald Carpenter and Carol (Dan) Diebold, her grandchildren Matthew Carpenter, Kristy (Ryan) Dwyer, Ashley (Mike) Johnson, Kimberly (Jeff) Buckius, Christopher Diebold, Eric Diebold as well as her five great grandchildren.
Margie is preceded in death by her parents Solomon and Anna, her husband Henry Carpenter, her daughter Susan Carpenter, a great grandchild, Maria Nelson and three of her siblings.
A funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home in Laramie, Wyoming. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Arthritis Foundation in her name.
So sorry for the loss of your mom. Your mom was sweet, quiet and kind. I know she enjoyed basketball, we stopped going years ago. Prayers and thoughts to you and your families.
