Darline V. Serdiuk

Darline V. Serdiuk, 79, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at her home in Laramie with members of her family at her side. She was born November 30, 1943 to Buren H. and Joyce (nee Dufloth) Westerman at Camp Rucker in Ozark, Alabama.

Darline graduated high school in Oak Lawn, IL then moved to Laramie where she met and married Theodore S. Serdiuk on October 16, 1965.

She began working at Coe Library for the University of Wyoming part-time then became head of circulation where she worked for many years.

She loved spending time with her family, in particular her grandchildren. She had a passion for animals, especially wildlife, which she enjoyed watching while camping and being outdoors. She also enjoyed shopping at thrift stores to find bargains to decorate her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dan Westerman and sister, Donna Brady.

She is survived by her husband, Theodore Serdiuk of Laramie; her children, Jeff Serdiuk (Joy) of Ocala, FL and Wendy Derosier (Al) of Yucaipa, CA; grandchildren, Brenden Serdiuk (Jessica), Ashleigh Serdiuk, Hannah Serdiuk, and Cassie Witman; her great grandchildren, Kinleigh, Tanner, Emberly, and Kingston; and her sisters-in-law, Wanda Westerman Pennell and Linda Serdiuk.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Laramie Animal Shelter.
