Christopher Ross Klemt

Christopher Ross Klemt passed away far too soon, leaving behind countless people who were lucky enough to know and love him.

Born in Laramie, Wyoming, Chris was the son of Gene Klemt and Becky Pinkerton MacMillan and the younger brother of Ryan Klemt.

Chris worked as a plumber with Eagle Plumbing and Heating, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to help others. He took pride in his work and in providing for the people he loved. Those who knew him knew that his true life’s work was loving his family and showing up for the people he cared about.

More than anything, Chris loved his children. Jordan, Alyson, Brooklyn, Karson, and Skylar were the center of his world. He was proud to be their dad and never missed an opportunity to talk about them, laugh with them, support them, and make memories with them. Everything he did, he did with his family in mind.

Chris had a larger-than-life presence. He could walk into a room and instantly make it feel lighter. His smile was contagious, his laugh was unmistakable, and somehow every gathering seemed a little better when he was there. Whether it was around a campfire, out fishing, on a Harley ride, or sitting around sharing stories with family and friends, Chris had a way of turning ordinary moments into the ones people remembered for years.

He loved fiercely, laughed loudly, and protected the people he cared about without hesitation. If Chris loved you, you knew it. And if you needed him, he was there.

Chris leaves behind his children, Jordan, Alyson, Brooklyn, Karson, and Skylar, who were his greatest pride and the most important part of his life.

He also leaves behind his beloved partner, Shadow, with whom he shared countless memories, unwavering love, and the beautiful family they built together. The bond they shared was one of friendship, loyalty, laughter, and a love that will endure far beyond this life.

Chris also leaves behind his best friend, Lencho. Their friendship was the kind people spend a lifetime hoping to find. Where one was, the other was never far behind. Chris also held a special place in his heart for Lencho’s family, whom he loved dearly.

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Carol Pinkerton, and his paternal grandparents, Alvin and Ida Klemt.

Chris is survived by his beloved partner, Shadow; his children, Jordan Klemt, Alyson Ontiveroz, Brooklyn Klemt, Karson Klemt, and Skylar Klemt; his parents, Gene Klemt and Becky Pinkerton MacMillan (Hoke); his brother, Ryan Klemt (Amy); his niece and nephews; his lifelong best friend, Lencho; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends, all of whom loved him dearly and will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

The measure of a life is not found in the years we are given, but in the people whose lives are better because we were here. Chris’s life was filled with love, loyalty, laughter, and the kind of memories that become stories told over and over again.

For everyone who knew him, those stories will never end.
