Timothy Joseph Paintin

Timothy Joseph Paintin, 55, of Laramie, passed away Wednesday, March 29th 2017 due to a sudden illness at IMH. Tim was born in Laramie on September 28th 1961 to George and Alice (Hendrickson) Paintin.

He married the love of his life, Janine Tucker on May 21st 1999. On October 19th 1993, he celebrated the birth of his daughter Destinee, whom he cherished and adored. This gentle giant of a man spent the next 24 years being the most amazing husband and father. His love, kindness, loyalty and generosity was limitless. His passion for being a professional truck driver took him to all 48 states, but never distanced him from his family. He was a well-decorated driver, but his proudest professional accomplishment was being Crete Carrier’s Cheyenne Fleet driver of the year in 2012, accompanied by a glowing article in the Boomerang. He will be sorely missed by all that were touched by his warmth and love.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece.

He is survived by his wife, Janine, daughter, Destinee, sons George P. (Jenna) and Timmy Joe  (Kari), parents, step-son, Daniel Jessop, parents,  Alice and George, siblings, James (Jo Marie), Ken (Jona) Debbie Wessels (Jerry), Cindy Smith (Dave), five grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and “great,” nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Timothy’s life will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Fraternal Order of the Moose, 409 South 3rd St. Laramie, WY.

Memorial contributions may be made to: My Second Home Rescue P.O. Box 177 Nunn, CO 80648.
