William E. Perue, 75, of Laramie went to be with his Lord surrounded by his family Thursday June 2, 2016 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.  He was born November 1, 1940 in Laramie the son of Clarence and Shirley (Bruder) Perue and received his schooling in Laramie, graduating from Laramie High School in 1958, then served in the National Guard.  After the National Guard he attended Building Trade School in Chicago, IL.

Returning to Laramie he opened his business Custom Builders.  In 1982 William started at the University of Wyoming where he retired as a carpenter.  His hobbies were hunting, fishing, carpentry and teaching his children the same.  He had a love for animals especially his goats.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother George and a grandson Anthony Fracassi.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Faith Perue of Laramie, WY; his children Lorna Chavis of Phoenix, AZ; Robin Helms (Celeste) of Petaluma, CA; Roxane Hughs of Granby, CO; Billy Perue (Michelle) of Laramie, WY and Crystal Nunz (Chuck) of Buffalo, NY; a sister Sherry Ortega of NE; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Hardwood officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday June 6 from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
