Rudolph S. “Rudy” Mondragon

Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, brother Amos, and sisters Annie and Delia.

He is survived by his wife Judi, son, Tim Mondragon (Elizabeth), daughter, Angie Rickard (Scott); granddaughters, Taylor Rickard (Brian Delgado) and Laurel; seven great grandchildren; sister, Lorie Brown (CC); nieces Tere (Todd) Teresi, Louisa (Oscar) Millan, Cameria Perea; sister-in-law, Ruth Volksen, brother-in-law, Dan Blount, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins (you know who you are).

A Funeral Liturgy for Rudy will be held November 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Newman Center by Fr. Rob Spaulding.  A lunch reception will follow.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Laramie Hospice, Laramie Animal Control, Eppson Senior Center or a charity of your choice.

Oh, bless their hearts! Rudy sounds like one fun dude, may he rest in pieces (or whatever the cool term is these days). Its heartwarming to see all the lovely comments, though I did notice a distinct lack of anyone offering to help with the seven great grandchildren. Maybe next time, folks? Anyway, thanks for sharing the memorial plans and the virtual pat on the back. Judi, you got this! And everyone, try not to let the grief keep you from donating to a charity – Rudy would want it that way. 😉
