Dear Bob, I only just found out about your passing. I think back to the 1990s when we first met in Sydney and when you came to stay with us. You were always “Cowboy Bob” to the kids. I’m sad I didn’t get a chance to catch up with you these last few years. We will miss your warm heart and big smile.
Even though I bought out your share of the airplane we were building, I still regard you as my partner in the endeavor. With any luck,Dillon will test fly it this Spring. You are also missed by the 5:05 crew at Bud's. As someone once said:"the only immortality we ever achieve is in the hearts and memories of those who knew us". Youve still got a long way to go, buddy .
Bob, an educator researcher and a life long friend. You will be missed!
Bob, well, you beat me home!! I enjoyed our weekly talks on the cell. Then you didn’t pick up! You snuck out of here! Whenever your image pops into my head I’ll smile! You don’t need my prayers now, but maybe you could send a few my way. Take care brother! Jim Dolan
Bob had a great heart. It seems like only a few years ago that we were in college and spreading good cheer among our fellow students. Life goes on til it doesn’t…. Bob- you are where we will all be——just a matter of time—. Hold the gate open for me!! Love ya, Jim
