Michael Sanders Lytle

Michael Sanders Lytle, 63, of Laramie Wyoming, sadly left this mortal coil July 8, 2024. He leaves behind his loving wife Nancy, son Michael N. Lytle, daughters Lynda Lytle, Lisa Lytle Chappell, Laura Lytle Aagard, and four grandchildren.

He was a long time resident of Laramie where he served his community through church service and working for the city’s water department. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a microbiology degree and continued to be a lifelong learner, constantly improving his skills, knowledge and abilities. He was a skilled handyman, jack of all trades and master of most, a regular “MikeGyver.”

A viewing for “Big Mike” will be 4:00-6:00 pm on Friday July 12, 2024 at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home 2133 E Rainbow Ave, Laramie, WY 82070. An additional viewing will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday July 13, 2024 before the service. The service will be at 11:00 am located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1065 N 15th St, Laramie, WY 82072. To attend via zoom, follow the link https://zoom.us/j/97496367323

His interment will take place 2:00 pm on July 15, 2024 at Lovell Cemetery 1123 Ln 13, Lovell, WY 82431

    Russ and I feel terrible about Mike’s passing but know he is no longer suffering. We pray for the family that they will get through this. Russ and I both worked at the City of Laramie with Mike for many years. He was extremely smart and hard working. He will be missed and hard to replace his knowledge and dedication.
