A proud graduate of Mansfield Senior High School in 1953, Major’s journey began with a promising career in professional baseball. His creations were not only beautiful but also reflected his resourceful nature and love for challenges. Those who knew him admired his sincerity and generosity; he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Major enjoyed hunting during his earlier years. His hobbies and interests were an extension of his independent character and deep connection to the world around him.
