
Louis Leon Moreno passed away in Laramie, on Wednesday, January 14th. Louis was born in Laramie on April 11th, 1933, to Joseph Moreno and Louisa Gallegos-Sharrow.
Louis had an active life, having a great love for the outdoors, in particular fishing. He also loved to race dune buggies, snow machines and ride motorcycles. He was also a local businessman, owning several businesses in Laramie over the years, most recently Moreno’s Foreign and Domestic Repair shop. Louis was in the Army National Guard, achieving the rank of Tech. Sargent.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters. Louis is survived by two sons, Louis Moreno Jr. (Kim), Dennis Moreno (Linda) and one daughter, Vickie Katosh (Moreno). He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Louis will be laid to rest at Greenhill Cemetery in Laramie, after a small ceremony at Montgomery-Strykers Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 20th at 2:00 P.M.


He was a good guy my dad worked with him when he had his shop on 3rd he was always cheerful and enjoyed working. Condolences to the family sorry for your loss

Uncle Louie, I have many memories of you ever since I was a young child. You were always there for all of us family members when we had problems with our vehicles. You are the best Mechanic in Lamie.
