Herbert Arthur Leeman, Jr. departed this life at his home in Laramie, Wyoming on Thursday,
January 22, 2026. He is the eldest son of Herbert Arthur Leeman, Sr., and Joyce Ann
Huntington Leeman. Born in Washington, D.C. on November 26th, 1962. He spent his early
life in Maryland being a proud Eagle Scout and building his lifelong foundation of
preparedness and beginning his journey into his career of electrical work. He loved family,
friends, motorcycles, tattoos, the Washington Commanders, fishing & crabbing on the
east coast, hunting for shark teeth, camping, collecting coins and had a deeply held
appreciation for music.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Arthur Leeman, Sr. and his son-in-law Landry
Blaine Skocdopole. He is survived by his three children: Kelley Nicole Nuttle, husband
Matthew, Paige Marie Skocdopole, and Jeremy Reed Leeman, significant other Alexis
Lewis, along with the mother of his children, Susan Leeman. He is also survived by his
mother, Joyce Ann Leeman, siblings, Vivian Rowe, Wayne Leeman and Darin Leeman. His
four grandchildren: Thomas Eugene Nuttle, Clara Elizabeth Nuttle, Nora Paige Nuttle and
Turner Reed Nuttle.
He will be remembered as the life of the party, the one to call if you need help or advice and
the best grandpa ever. He was very proud of his grandchildren and made his love for them
clear.
Services will be held at later date. If anyone feels inclined to honor him, enjoy a good drink
and good time.

Herb Jr,was so apriciated by everyone, we met Herb through camping at Dennis Point in Southern Maryland we became part of family,with the leeman parents and siblings,when he was visiting he always made a Point to seepage forsure,where are the crabs buddy,we loved you then Herd as we also loved your Dad give him a big hug for us.we are definitely going to miss you forever and always RIP,God's Blessings to all your family and friends 🧡 Joy and Pete Shreve.

You were my nephew and we were only 10 years difference in age but I considered you more like my brother…. I will always have your memory with me of our days growing up together and the most recent which you put our “landing site” of lights for my long driveway.. and recently some advice… love you so much… hope you, your dad, Sister Barbara and Johnny and Jerry and all our other family can now have some good drinks and fun times together… will be with all of you when it’s my time to join you much LOVE (Aunt) Linda ❤️
