
Darold Walker died August 21, 2025, in Laramie, Wyoming. He was born in Laramie, Wyoming, on October 16, 1960 to James R. Walker and Sharon L. (Challman) Walker.
He graduated from Laramie High School in 1979; and in 1983 he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps.
Darold worked as a pipefitter until his retirement and was a member of the Pipefitter’s Union Local 208 for 25 years.
In his spare time, Darold was an avid fan of the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his parents James and Sharon Walker.
Darold is survived by children Joe Walker (Brittany Bell) and Matthew Walker, granddaughters Annabelle Souza, Ryker and Evie Bell-Walker, brother Rick Walker (Anita), nephews Trevor Cotton (Dyllan) and Drew Cotton and the best chocolate Lab, Harley.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 14.

I'm saddened to hear that Darold has passed. I have known him since we were toddlers. I always enjoyed running into him and chatting. My condolences to all of his family and friends.

Sorry to have lost you Dub, you were a character and really did have a heart of gold. I'm glad I saw him not too long ago. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I still have the license plate frame he gave me and I laugh at it regularly. IYKYK
