Anna Marie Hoffschneider

Anna Marie Hoffschneider was born December 20, 1932, and departed this earth on November 17, 2023. She was born in Chama, Colorado to Frances and Manuel Vialpando and raised in Laramie, WY by Rosita and Jose Rael. She lived in Laramie her entire life.

Marie married Ervin Hoffschneider on January 3, 1951, and with that union four children were born, Peggy (Ross), Ervin Jr., Rocky, and Robin (Debbie). She had nine grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Marie and Ervin had a concrete business that they ran together for 55 years.  She loved her family and loved to cook and care for them.  She also loved to dance and go hunting with her family on Pinon Ridge in upper Green River, WY. She was a member of the Laramie Moose Lodge.

Marie loved animals and raised many over the years. She always wanted to get her diploma and finish her schooling and she did just that. She received her diploma when she was 75 years old, which was a great accomplishment for her, she was very proud of that.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Madaline, Lucille, Martha and Geraldine; and many nieces and nephews.

Marie is preceded in death by her son, Ervin Jr.; Frances and Mauel Vialpando; Rosita and Jose Rael; two brothers, Max and James Vialpando; and her loving husband, Ervin Hoffschneider.

Services will be held Thursday, December 7th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church in Laramie, Wyoming.

Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Laramie Animal Welfare Society.
