Margaret “Peggy” Thompson was born June 15, 1938, in Laramie to Robert and Huldah Bruce and passed away on June 14, 2025. After graduating from Prep, she attended the University of Wyoming, where she became a devoted UW basketball fan. Peggy married Tommy Thompson on August 10, 1968, and they loved exploring Wyoming with their rescue dogs. She will be fondly remembered for her work in the children’s section of the Albany County Library, her kindness, and her generosity.

She is survived by her brother, Robert K. Bruce (Lin), nieces and nephews Rob, Lindy, David, Scott, Doug (Liz), and Elizabeth, and 14 grand-nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place; a private family service will be held. Memorials may be made to the Laramie Animal Shelter or Hospice of Laramie. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Spring Wind and Hospice for their compassionate care.
