John Lee Weems, 73, of Laramie, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, October 12, 2026. John was born in Salina, Kansas to Robert and Delores (Barnhill) Weems on November 19, 1952.

John proudly served his country in both the United States Army and United States Navy. He was a dedicated worker in the community and was an employee at Mountain Cement for 17 years before retiring from his career. John enjoyed fishing and will be remembered for his love of the outdoors.

John leaves behind his spouse, Paula Joy Weems of 29 years, two daughters; Wendy Weems Cranford of Plymouth, California and Katie Weems Cotterral of Plymouth, California; his sister Barbara Moore of Tenesse, brother Bob Weems, and his grandchildren; Caleb, Macie, Makayla, Susanna, Curtis, and Genevieve.
