Thomas Jay Ranz, 72, of Laramie, passed away on April 21, 2026. He was born April 21, 1954.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2026 at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home. A full obituary will be published.

Thank you Norm. Tom was a strong pressence to all who knew him. You were friends with he and John for a long time and you still kept in touch with him all these years. You were a very good friend and I knew it.

I knew Tom from back in the day, we snowmobiled together and he helped me with set ups on my race sleds. I always enjoyed Tom’s wit and sense of humor. I saw him a couple months ago and it has always been a pleasure to catch up with him from time to time. It’s a shock to hear that he has passed and I am truly sorry. Bill Berendsen
