Ronald Joe Latimer, 62, of Laramie, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 1, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas to Joe and Emma Aleta (Green) Latimer.
Ron married Rosanne Goss on November 10, 1979 in Denver, Colorado. Ron loved to travel the open road finding beauty in every place he visited. He was a talented photographer. He had such a positive spirit about him finding good in everything and everyone. Ron loved all kinds of music and was a talented guitar player and song writer.
Ron is survived by his wife, Rosanne Latimer of Laramie, WY; his children, Gordon Latimer (Alisa) of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Katie Wolfis (Dan) of Aurora, Colorado; his grandson, Logan Wolfis; his sisters, Sandy Latimer of Brighton, Colorado, and Karen Landburg of North Glenn, Colorado.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home. Military Rites will be by the Laramie Veterans Honor Guard and the United States Navy.

Ron was a pure hearted poet and ambassador of the Rockies a true treasure to the world and will be sadly missed by everyone. God bless you and your family
