Robert Wayland Shenefelt Jr—“Dad,” “Papa,” “Bob,” “Uncle Bob,” “Bobby,” “Little Brother,” “Robert,”63, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 16, 2018 at his home in Laramie, WY. Bob was born December 8, 1955 in Cheyenne, WY to Robert and Maxine (Kraft) Shenefelt. For nearly 40 years,Bob served the Laramie Community as the local Meadow Gold Milkman. He was the youngest of four children (Rebecca Riley, Maxine Titus, and Mary Reed). Bob will be dearly missed by his wife of 36 years: Ema C. Bixler; his sons: Joshua and Chaz, Grandchildren: Greyson and Asher, and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.Per Bob’s wishes, there will be no services. Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home is in care of cremation.Instead of flowers, please consider a donation in Bob’s name to the American Heart Association.

Ema and Family, I am so sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at King’s many years ago. He was such a kind man to me. May your many wonderful memories comfort you during the difficult days ahead.

Uncle Bob, words cannot explain how much you’re going to be missed. It’s going to be difficult the next time I’m home, because you’re not going to be there. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, remember God has a plan and he’s in a better place. Of course we know he’s hanging out with everyone up there and watching over us. I’m going to miss the text messages from you where it was like code trying to understand what you were saying (no correcting, just running with it). You always knew how to make someone laugh. I love and miss you so much Uncle Bob. HUGS.

Bob and I became friends when the Shenefelt family moved to Laramie we drifted away but we were always friends. My heart goes out to the family for they are all good people Bob Sr and Maxine were like parents to me. Bob I know that you are with the lord and you will be missed dearly. My dearest husband, I am going to miss you. You were my rock and heart. Here are a few messages from loved ones: He was a big man with a big heart and there isn’t another like him. He enjoyed four wheeling, drag/race cars and Wild Turkey. Old Blue took many a niece and nephew on steep inclines and muds baths or should we say blue mud and purple peanut butter? He loved his Ford trucks and is known by one special young man—Jason Super Hero Jones—as the Ford man. He was always there for an early morning or a late night Texas phone call. He specialized in funny albeit cryptic Facebook posts. Uncle Bob was always there for me, no matter what. Rest In Peace.

Tony and I are so sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. No words can ease the pain or make your days easier. Only know how much the rest of us care and how much we’ll notice that the lights of Laramie are dimmer than they were when he was with us.

Ema,I was so sorry to hear about Bobby passing. I’ve known him for a long time . When I moved to Laramie in 1970 , he and I used to hang out together At Kings Food Host. There I met my future wife to whom I’m still married. Such a wonderful friend and I will miss him. George Golen

Ema and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Bob when he was young and have seen him through the years and very much enjoyed him. I worked for his parents at Kings and it was one of the best jobs I have ever had because of the family and the kindness they all showed everyone. Bob was the best!!

My dearest sister and nephew(s), I cannot begin to know what you are going through but I am here if you need me or my Bob. In reflection, you could say my brother-in-law was easy going or a jokester, but I know he was a hard working individual: father and husband, son and brother, friend and fiend.
