Ramona F. Thelman

Ramona F. Thelman, 91, of Laramie, died Friday, February 18, 2022 at Hospice of Laramie. She was born March 9, 1930 in Amarillo, TX to Joseph and Trinidad Lara.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allan Thelman; daughters, Claudia Abeyta Corchado and Anna Marie Abeyta; and sisters, Frances, Rita, and Lisa Lara.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Abeyta, Agnes Thelman, and Desiree Stockton; grandchildren, Alexander Corchado and Justin Ramon Thelman; brothers, Conrad, Tommy, Benjamin, Johnny, Mark, Mike, Robert, Abel, and Tim Lara; sisters, Connie Lara-Parker, Eleanor Armijo, Linda Rodriguez, Vicky Alcala, and Rachel Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vigil and Rosary will at 9:30 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church followed by a  Funeral Liturgy starting at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 25th at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Laramie.

My condolences to the whole entire Lara family. RAMONA WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON TO HAVE KNOWN. My memories of her will remain in my heart forever. It isvery sad to hear of her passing. May God bless her family.

Ramona was a wonderful person to have known. I will keep memories of her and her children close to my heart. To hear of her passing is very sad

So sad to hear of her passing. She was one of the nicest ladies I’ve ever met. I will always think of her with great admiration. I will never forget her kindness. She was a beautiful person. Sincere condolences to the family and friends.

I will miss her dearly, so kind and welcoming every time I saw her.. She was very special in so many ways… This world will miss her spreading kindness! Prayers to her family!
