Patricia Ann Svetlik, 94, of Laramie, passed away peacefully at 12:14 a.m. on June 12, 2025, while living at Cottonwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 27, 1930 to Ernest J. Skroch and Cecilia M. Culavin in Rockford, Illinois.
Patricia married Thomas Svetlik on January 24, 1951 in Neillsville, WI.
She lived at Cottonwood for the last seven and a half years and participated in group activities and especially enjoyed playing bingo.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Newman Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecilia Peyton and Ernest Skroch; her husband, Thomas A. Svetlik; her daughter, Marilou Fetzer, her grandson, Ryan Vrooman; her son-in-law, Alan Vrooman; and her siblings, Marilou Chincarini and Charles Paul “Bud” Skroch.
Patricia is survived by her children, Suzanne (Dennis) Tschacher, Julie Vrooman, Tom (Lorrie) Svetlik, and Tim Svetlik; her grandchildren, Terry Fetzer, Meghan (Levi) Jensen, Matt (Jess) Tschacher, Bridget (Ryan) Elsemore, Austin Svetlik, J.R. (Heather) Boyles, Vanessa and Lissa Boyles, and Sydney Gerber; her great grandchildren, Dominic, Aiden, and Skieler Tschacher, McKenzie and Jaycee Jensen, Ayden Boyles, Sophie, Scarlett, and Stella Elsemore, Savanna Gerber, and Carson, Kaidence and Ali Boyles; her great-great grandchildren, Xavier and Xander Tschacher; and her cousins, Jerry Nolan, Georgie Allerheiligan, and Kevin and Brian Collins.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2025 at St. Paul’s Newman Center.
