Pamela K. Wade, 62, of Laramie, died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. She was born January 7, 1954 in Omaha, Nebraska to John and Mary (Sloan) Wood.

Pam married Ronald W. Wade April 6, 1974 in Laramie, WY.

Pam enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother.  She was extremely proud to be a grandmother. Pam and Ron have owned and operated Wade’s Mobile Manor for the past 38 years.  Over the years Pam worked and taught classes at Fleider’s Ceramic shop.  She was involved in Daughter’s of the Nile, was a 4H leader, organized many Shriner fundraisers and other various activities among the community.  Pam was an avid Denver Bronco’s Fan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Wood; her son, Matthew Wade; her sister, Penny Johnson; and her father-in-law, Walter Wade.

Pam is survived by her husband, Ron Wade of Laramie; her children, Marti Derringer (Erik) of Cheyenne, WY, Mark Wade (Nicole) of Laramie, WY, and Michael Wade (Tami) of Cheyenne, WY; her six grandchildren, Bethany and Kylynn Derringer, Mayci and Kinley Wade, Taylin and Makiya Wade; her brother, Larry Wood (Lisa) of Casper, WY; her mother-in-law, Betty Wade of Encampment, WY; and her brother-in-laws, Mike Wade of Encampment, WY, Steve Wade (Linda) of Laramie, WY, Pat Wade (Joy) of Cheyenne, WY and Mark Johnson of Greene, IA.  She is also survived by sister-in-law JoAnn Hurlocker (Richard) of Billings, MT and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.

A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Laramie, 710 E. Garfield St. Suite 339 Laramie, WY 82070.

Pammy the responsible “can do” girl who you could always count on has passed. Yet her spunk, her raspy laugh, her generous nature, and her ability to draw the best out of the ones who love her will live on. My sincere condolences to all that love her.
