Nancy Louise Shaner

Nancy Louise Shaner, 80, of Laramie, died Sunday, November 26, 2023 at her home. She was born April 3, 1943 to Gilbert and Twila (Owens) Beets.

She married Donald Shaner on April 12, 1964 in Laramie. She loved her family and her favorite furry companion, Toby. Nancy was faithful to Jesus, attending Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Snowy Range Baptist Church and Harvest Church over the years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; children, Darren and Misty Shaner; siblings, Betty Lloyd, Barbara Beets, and Gilbert Junior Beets.

She is survived by her daughter, Ronda Blake (Charlie); grandson, Joshua Blake (Lexi); and daughter-in-law, Sandy Shaner-Gray.

 Memorial Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Harvest Church.

Nancy’s family would like to thank Hospice of Laramie for their tremendous care they gave Nancy over the last few months.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Laramie.

Dianne and I send our heart-felt condolences for the loss you have had. Nancy was a special lady and she was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by you and her immediate family, and also by the many friends she made during her lifetime. May God bless you all.

I worked with Nancy at Kmart for a few years and really liked her. Sending condolences, thoughts and prayers to the entire family.
