Marian Jaycox

Marian Jaycox was born on October,30,1925 and entered eternal rest on July,13,2017. She was the oldest of thirteen children born to Clyde and Mary Grace Baird. She married the love of her life Walter Jaycox on October 13, 1942.

She was a member of the moose for 50 years and enjoyed bowling for many years. She worked at Washakie center in the bakery department for many years eventually becoming the head baker until her retirement.

She is survived by three Daughters, Mary Delone of Arkansas Beverly Montgomery of Laramie and Brenda Peck of Laramie. Marian had twelve grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is survived by four brothers, two sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jaycox, son, David Jaycox, daughter, Cynthia Jaycox, an infant daughter and four brothers and two sister.

Her cremation has taken place and the service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 at Montgomery Stryker Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and daughter.

There will be a celebration of life at the moose Following the burial. She was a beloved women and will be missed by all.

Was a very kind hearted and strong lady. She would do anything for you even if it ment giving up her last dollar. She was an angle that touched so many people’s hearts during her time with us, God bless and know that you are going to be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with all the family during this time.
