Leo Allen Emerson

Leo Allen Emerson passed away on 12 September 2026 in Laramie, Wyoming.

He was born in Laramie on March 23, 1975, and grew up in Rock River. Following graduation from Rock River High School, he entered active military service on 7 June 1993, enlisting in the United States Marine Corps.  He earned the rank of Sergeant (E-5), and served as a helicopter power plant mechanic. He was honorably discharged on 6 July 1997.

After serving his country, he worked as a heavy machine operator in construction for over twenty-five years. Allen was routinely recognized for his precision and expertise on the job.

He is survived by his father Randy, his brother Michael, his children Breanna and Daniel, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Connie, his Emerson grandparents, and his Olivas grandparents.

Graveside services will be held at Rock River Cemetery on Friday, 18 September 2026 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts of support or donations be made to Hospice of Laramie or the Baptist Church of Rock River.
