Lenny Taylor

Heaven has gained another angel on August 4th, 2021, our beloved Lenny Taylor

Lenny was born on July 23rd,1977 to Elizabeth (Roybal) Bustos and Leonard Taylor in Laramie, Wyoming.

He attended schools in Laramie and graduated from LHS in 1996. Lenny currently worked for Blakeman Propane. Lenny was a diehard Denver Bronco fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his yearly white water rafting trips. He loved spending time with his brothers, family and friends. But what Lenny cherished the most were his three children: Adonia, Lynnea, Nithaniel and his mother, Elizabeth Bustos.

Lenny had a heart of gold; he was loved by everyone. He never hesitated to help anyone who needed it. You could always count on Lenny. He was the type of person who always put someone else before himself no matter the circumstance. He was a shoulder to cry on and an ear to always listen; he was never afraid to say the truth and do what was right. Lenny was a kind, generous and loving soul, who will be deeply missed. His immeasurable kindness and love will be carried on by his three children.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather Billy Bustos, grandparents Ada and Ruben Roybal, his grandfather Frank Taylor and his cousin Danny Ray Roybal. He is survived by his children; Adonia Grinevicius (Sheryl), Lynnea Taylor, Nithaniel Taylor. His mother Elizabeth Bustos, his father Leonard Taylor (Elaine). His brothers; Shawn Bustos (Tracy), Nicholas Bustos (Gwen), Andrew Bustos (BreAnna), Travis Taylor (Trish). Step- Brothers; Greg Taylor, Jarid Trujillo and Josh Taylor. Grandmother Irma Taylor and Toni Bustos.

Brothers in heart; Derick Vasquez (Nicole) and Mike Gonzalez (Sarah). And all his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

May his soul rest in peace. He may be gone, but never forgotten.

Lenny was always smiling every time I saw him. He could brighten your day with just a simple “hey. How’s it goin’ “.
He will truly be missed.
Just before he got sick, I ran into him at Taco bell ( which he scolded me on) lol. I was in my vehicle and he was leaving the bank. I was having a very hard day that day and was deeply depressed. He made me smile and I wish I could have told him what a difference he made made in my day that particular day. I’m glad I was able to know such a wonderful person. Rest peacefully my friend.

From his sister, whom was not mentioned… May you rest in peace big brother. I will cherish my good memories with you, and forgive and forget any of the time we grew apart. May the Lord bring comfort to us all with the knowing that you are in His loving arms.

To each and all of the Roybals, Bustos, Taylors and Lenny’s many friends and family; I know you will be missed by all. There were many prayers and hopes in my heart for your recovery. Now that you have met the Lord you are at peace. I pray now for your family and especially for your mother Liz and your children. Their loss is enormous. May the peace and strength of God be with them all now, and everyone who your life touched. Rest in Peace Lenny.

My Brother Lenny. Your advice and your leadership when we were young will always be in my heart. You always treated me with such kindness and acceptance. You gave me life long friends and family that I wouldn’t have had the chance to love and cherish without you. My kids and my wife share the grief as they loved you so much. I will always be grateful to have been your brother and will share the beautiful memories we have with my family. I Love you Lenny. Rest in Paradise!
