Lane Aaron Swedlund

Lane Aaron Swedlund was born to Debra J. Hammer and Jason E. Swedlund on April 20th, 1991 in Fort Collins, Colorado.  He passed away on June 9th, 2017 in Encampment, Wyoming.  He grew up in Drake Colorado before moving to Encampment, Wyoming in 2005.  He graduated from Encampment High school in 2009 and completed his Diesel Technician Degree from Casper College in 2012.  He was a very well rounded man with a heart of gold.  He had a funny way of being able to connect with anyone on any level.  He grew up to have an avid love for the outdoors and his family.

 

Lane is survived in life by his Mom, Deb Hammer (Dan Hammer), Dad, Jason Swedlund, sister, Brandi Swedlund (Michael Armagost), fiancé, Shaylee Burgess and many Grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennis Swedlund, and great grandparents.

 

There will be a celebration of his life on Monday June 19th, 2017 at one p.m. at the Grand Encampment Park with a potluck style meal immediately after.

 

A Lane Swedlund Memorial Fund is set up with Bank of the West in his name to help the family with expenses.

I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful person. I have many fond memories of Lane when he was young. He had a very special light about him. May God bring his Family peace and strength through such a difficult transition. He will be very missed. He is now in the arms of the Lord.
