Kelsey had an infectious smile, it could light up a room; I will miss her smiles. I am bereft for how to express how deeply sorry I am for the grief and suffering her family, friends and teachers are feeling in the wake of her passing. Heartbroken perhaps says it all. May her family find solace from all whom love Kelsey now and forever. In honor of Kelsey, and the families wishes, I will write letters to our representatives asking for access to better mental health care in Wyoming. I urge everyone to do the same.

I was not close to Kelsey but of the things I knew about her, I knew she was kind, adventurous, and had one massive heart. This is a devastating loss, hopefully more mental health advocacy can come out of this. Prayers are with the Wilson family and all of Kelsey’s close friends.

We are so deeply saddened by the loss of Kelsey. She had such a bright and vibrant spirit. Every time she came into our home, she really did light up the room. Always greeted by our animals and she made a point to stop and love on every one of them, including the silly little brothers. My daughter, Sierra, loved her fiercely and will never stop. It has been a devastating few days in our home, I can’t even begin to imagine yours. Sending our love and prayers to carry you through this tragic time. Cherish the good memories, she’s a beautiful soul.

Dear heart broken family,
I did not know your daughter, but I know your hurt. We lost our son, Chris in April and we had to sit right there and make the arrangements. Thankful for the sensitive staff there, but the facts are that no one expects to ever sit there… I am reaching out to offer my shoulder and love to you and your family. If you feel you need to talk to someone who’s been there, my number is (307) 701-3683. God is working in our lives to prevent this happening if we can help it.
