With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Daniel Trujillo on September 27, 2025. Born on April 13, 1970, Daniel was truly one of a kind. He had a way of making everyone feel special—when Daniel knew you, he never forgot you. He always made the effort to stop, talk, and connect. To so many, Daniel wasn’t just a friend—he became family.
Daniel is deeply loved and will be missed by his parents, Ray and Anna Trujillo; his sisters, Christina Lepper (Greg) and Rayann Trujillo; and his nieces and nephews, Jarred Lepper (Nick), Allison Weber (Tommy), Donavon Reidle (Collin), RaeMarie Skinner (Joshua), and Austin Lepper (Alice). His love and laughter will forever live on through each of them.
We invite all who knew and loved Daniel to join us in celebrating his life. Services will be held at St. Laurence O’Toole Church with the Rosary on Thursday, October 9th, at 6:00 p.m., and the Funeral Mass on Friday, October 10th, at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Newman Center, where family and friends can gather to share memories, stories, and laughter in honor of Daniel.

It saddens me to hear of your loss; I always looked forward to seeing Dan when I went to Safeway. Of course, we also knew each other at LHS and he would remind me of that but tease me each time that I was a PE teacher at the junior high school. I will miss him and remember him each time I go to Safeway. Ryan Fulton

So sorry about Dan. He knew my son, Gregory Hildebrand because of ARK Regionals Services. When I went to Safeway, Dan would always ask about Gregory, ask how he was, ask if I had seen him recently and ask how old is Gregory, Dan would proudly say he was three years older than Gregory. Sometimes he wold ask how old I was! I won’t ever go to Safeway without thinking aobut Dan, his great smile and helpful nature. What a blessing he was to all of us; he made is mark on so many hearts in Laramie.

Daniel had just recently moved into the same house as our son Jed. The first time we saw him while visiting, his face lit up with a big smile and he greeted us with a cheery “I know you!” He was such a joy to be around. We will miss him. RIP, Daniel!

Daniel was a consistently friendly face and spirited opinion maker at Safeway. He bantered with his co-workers in a light-hearted way. He always when out of his way to assist me with grocery items—since I am older, he often asked me if I knew his mother. He will be missed by many as the friendly guy at Safeway.
