Dale loved the mountains where he could camp, hunt, fish, and snowmobile, along with the love he had for his animals.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Jennilee and his grandfather, Glenn Beatty.

He is survived by his loving partner, Lori Garcia; his parents, Jean and Leonard Eickbush and Dan and Jan Eckdahl; his children, Daniel and Bradley Eckdahl, and his adopted daughter, Nicole Sandoval; his first wife and the mother of his children, Suzanne Sandoval; his grandchildren, Syrenity, Darren, Chalance, and Yessenia.  He is also survived by his brothers, Jason Eickbush and Brandin Eckdahl; his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his lifelong friends, including his closest friend, Tom Gates.

To all of Dale’s Family and Friends,
I wanted to offer my sincere condolences, you are and will be in my prayers. Dale and I had many wonderful adventures together, as children, teenagers and young men. I am sad that I will be unable to go the memorial to be with you, but will share a story I remember from our time growing up together.

Dale always seemed to know when my mom would be baking fresh bread and he would come over to the house just as it came out of the oven, his behavior a perfect gentleman as always, he would comment to my mom how wonderful the house smelled, my mom always loved to cut him a fresh slice or two of bread for him to enjoy. It really made her day knowing someone enjoyed eating her bread so much.

May God comfort you all,
Sincerely Hugh Stone

To the Eickbush’s & Eckdahl’s & Lori:
There are no adequate words to express the extreme sense of loss I feel at Dale’s passing. He will surely be missed as will his sense of humor. I hope Dale is finally out of physical and mental pain and is at peace. May the higher power wrap his arms around all of you and guide you all through this difficult time.
