Christopher Malo Santos

Christopher Malo Santos, 50, of Cheyenne, died on February 25, 2024 at his home.

He was born on October 29, 1973 in Cheyenne to Doris Santos and Juan Cristobal Pacheco Jr.

Chris had a heart of gold.  Chris liked working with his hands – he was quite the woodworker, handyman and artist.  He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time outdoors.  Chris lived a simple life where he mostly kept to himself but he always had his family on his mind and in his heart.  On the occasions you did get to see Chris or talk to him, it was like time never passed.  His infectious laughter, beautiful hazel eyes and joking, orneriness will greatly be missed.

He is survived by his children, LaShaya Lehto, Christopher Lehto and Roberto Lehto.  Granddaughter, Kynidee Lehto.  Siblings, Valarie Santos, Guadalupe (Ernest) Santos, Jimmy (Jesica) Mora and Raymond Mora.  Father figure/uncle Gary Carlson, mother, Doris (Jimmy) Mora.  Significant other, Andrea Estorga and numerous extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Cristobal Pacheco Jr;  grandparents, Sadie Wilson Martinez, Perscilla Martinez and Juan Cristobal Pacheco Sr.; Brother, Alfredo Santos and numerous family members and friends.

Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 5th at St. Paul’s Newman Center in Laramie, WY. Inurnment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery.

Family would like to thank everyone for their heartfelt wishes, prayers and assistance at this difficult time. Memorial donations may be made to Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home.
