Doc Allen as most of his students referred him, was a amazing professor, teacher. he taught me a lot and was my driving force for graduating from the University of Wyoming with a Industrial Technology degree, may he rest in peace, prayers for the Family!

Doc Allen is on of the reasons I became a preschool teacher. I vividly remember my first visit to “Career Ed,” as a 4-year old, being taught how to put on safety goggles, how to select and put back a metal ruler, and walking away with the understanding that I could use real tools, and make things… cutting off the top corners of a 5” x 8” section scrap wood, and sawing out a small piece at the other end to become the rubber-banded paddle of a boat. He was a wonderful teacher – my deepest condolences.

Kent was a great friend and colleague. He was truly dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning. He will be missed by many in the CTE community as well as his family and friends.

Kent was first and foremost, a friend from our church association. June, you and your daughters are as much of that picture. Gary then was able to have him as an advisor at the University which was a pleasure. Please know that you have our thoughts and condolences. Hug on your girls for me. Donna and Gary Crandall.
