Even though she wasn’t my grandma, she always told me to call her Grandma Anita. She was so strong. So determined and I loved her zest for life and the mountains. She was always making spaghetti-o’s when she baby sit us. She was the essence of class. Sending so much love and prayers to you all.

Fond memories of growing up with the Hilim family, Anita was always so lovely, and yes, forever smiling. She taught me baton twirling lessons in their backyard in the late 1960’s, I would proudly march along 9th street with the LHS Marching Band as a little eight year old girl. Paul and I send our love and condolences.

It’s hard to know where to start! Anita was one of a kind, she was never afraid to take on a project, whether it be building something or repairing it! She made the best chocolate sheet cake and it definitely was her signature! She was always so kind to welcome Gene and I to the Cabin that we absolutely love going to! She will be missed and I know she is home now with the Lord and I know Al was waiting for her! RIP Anita we all loved you!
