Alan Dean Attebery~1942-2025

Dean Attebery passed away peacefully at home May 2 in Laramie WY.  He will be missed by his wife, Sharon; children, Justin (Melanie), Jennifer of Laramie, and Jill Steele (Mark) of Love-lock NV; grandchildren, Cassandra Steele, Ashley Montez of Lovelock, Rachel Nash of Las Vegas, Alice Attebery of Laramie, Evee Caramanno of Stanton Michigan; great grandchildren, Audrina, Olivia and Rogelio Montez of Lovelock.  He graduated from Laramie High School in 1960; was in the Wyoming Army National Guard from 1965-1971; started Attebery Welding & Crane Service in 1973-2009. He loved boating, camping, fishing and hunting with his family and friends. No services are planned per his request.

Dean and I had a great time in high school playing music chasing after girls and dancing and just super fun and he played the bass guitar in my band for a while. Just a fun guy. I’m sorry to seem cashing in his chips. I’ll probably be joining him on these times. Love you the other Dean Dean Johnson.

I grew up with Dean, looked up to him as an older brother, followed him around in the mountains around Albany. Prayers to family.

Sharon, Justin and Jill, I’m so sorry for the loss of Dean. He was a great man had a good friend.. Dean helped us for many years doing welding when we needed him at the University. He will be missed by many and my thoughts and prayers go out to you.’
