Wilma June Waldron

Wilma June Waldron, 78, of Walden, Colorado passed away August 21, 2022. She was born June 28, 1944, in Sterling, Colorado to Doyle Carrigan and Marjorie Rocker.

During her life she attended North Park Schools but had to cut her formal education short to help raise her family.

 She worked for five years as the cleaning supervisor at Hi County Haus in the old town of Hideaway Park (now part of Winter Park). She then developed her own small cleaning business in the Walden area, drove the senior bus and was the coordinator for around 20 years.

When not working, she loved to take care of her family, home, and yard. She also loved hot air balloon festivals. She bowled and played softball when she was younger, and enjoyed watching the girls’ volleyball, and basketball at the school.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Dean Waldron, sister Vickie Mora, and brother Dennis Carrigan.  

She is survived by her husband Douglas Waldron, daughters Cynon Martinez, Monica Warren, son KinCaid Waldron, grandsons Duncan Dye and Jason Waldron,  sisters Janice Nelson, Gloria Capshaw, brother Lavern Carrigan, half-sister Carla Lapp, half-brother Norman Carrigan, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

A memorial service with a celebration of life will be from 11am-1pm Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the Walden City Park. Private family burial.
