Sharon L. Kunkel Brown

Sharon Louise Kunkel Brown was born in Georgetown Washington DC on April 17, 1945, to Dot and Gerald Kunkel.  Her father was in the Air Corp.    She passed January 12, 2022, in Laramie.  Her Parents and Grand Parents were all natives of Laramie.

She married Billy Brown on August 20, 1967.  They lived in Laramie, Los Angeles, Texas, Mississippi, Upper Michigan, Minneapolis, San Jose, and back to Laramie.

She earned a college degree in Creative Arts from San Jose State.

She was an excellent pianist, and taught piano to many students, and loved every minute of it.  She learned to play the organ and played it for her church. She enjoyed the Wyoming mountains, especially The Snowy Range. She loved life, and everybody she met.

Visitation will be from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Hayford St. with services starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery.

    This is very late condolence message, Billy, but I want to tell you how sorry I am that Sharon has passed. I didn't even know that you two had married. I am so happy that you were, but so sad for you that she has been taken. God bless you and may you meet again in Heaven.
