Ralph Howard Johnston, 90, of Laramie, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Laramie Care Center.
He was born March 9, 1927 in Casper, Wyoming to William Victor Johnston Sr. and Mary Agnes Scholz.
Ralph married Maryann McCue in 1964 at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church in Laramie. Together they loved to travel to visit Ralph’s siblings. He worked as a carpenter his whole working life. Ralph was a loving man and loved to take care of his bride.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents; his infant daughter, Juliann Johnston; and his siblings, William Victor Jr., Donald, Eileen, Viola, and Albert.
He is survived by his wife Maryann Johnston of Laramie; his siblings, Franklin Johnston, Thomas (Linda) Johnston, William Johnston, and Phillip Johnston. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Jerry (Jeanne) McCue.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home with the Reverend Fr. Dave Erickson, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery.

Dear Maryann and family,
I fondly remember all the visits we shared especially when I was in school. After a visit we would go out for coffee before saying good night. I enjoyed Ralph’s.jokes and sense of humor. But he loved you more than anything and it showed by the way he cared for you!

Aunt Maryann,
I am so sad about Uncle Ralph’s passing. I know you must be devastated. Take comfort in the fact that he had a great life with you by his side. I hold you both close to my heart. The world won’t be the same without Ralph Johnston in it.
