Louise Marlyen (Johnson) Sexton was born January 24, 1934 to Burdette Johnson and Eleanor Robinson Johnson in Orland California. After graduating from high school, she completed a year at Chico State College.
She married Robert Sexton on January 1, 1953. They honeymooned in Australia and New Zealand before making their home in Willows California. They moved to the Laramie area in 1955. Louise loved square dancing and quilting. Some of her many activities include volunteering at the hospital and senior center, Comforters for Kids, working as an election Judge and bailiffing for the District Court. After retirement, she and Bob travelled extensively including the Galapagos Islands and the Azores. They also enjoyed many riverboat cruises. She taught Dutch oven cooking classes in Wyoming and New Mexico, cooked for Adventure Camp, and for many years participated in competitive pistol shooting.
Louise is survived by her husband of 68 years, brother Robert, daughters Debbie (Bill) Wempen, Janice Sexton, Sandra (Larry) Goza, daughter-in-law Sue Sexton, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Richard, Don, and Art, and Son Mike.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the First Christian Church.

I meet Louise through the Eppson Center. She was loved by all. Condolences go out to Bob, Janice and the rest of the family. I know she will be missed.
I adores Louise. I had the pleasure of working in her home a few years back. Quickly, I became so find of her and Mr. Sexton. I may have been there housekeeper, but, there wasn't a visit to their home where they didn't share a story or a memory with me. Louise was kind, strong in her faith and loved her family. I will miss her and am saddened by her passing. May God bless her entry into his kingdom and have her son, Mike waiting to greet her. My condolences to Mr Sexton, Janice and the family.
Mom, my heart is breaking. It is still to hard to believe. I know that you are in heaven with love ones that you haven't seen in a long time and we will be together again someday. Until then, you raised us to work together and be here for each other and to take care dad. I promise mom we will. I love you and miss you so much.
I am so pleased to have had the chance to meet Louise. She was always so kind and had lots of stories. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.
