Linda was one of the sweetest individuals I ever met. I first was fortunate to meet Linda and Bunnie through Extension Homemakers. Then as a 4-H leader in rabbits. Although I was in Laramie County, she shared her knowledge and experience with my son in his first 4-H project. Soon my daughters were involved with dairy goats where I continued to work with Linda enjoying her friendly personality. Linda always had an upbeat attitude to life and infected all around her with the same positive attitude. Life was an adventure to her. Difficult experiences were always put into a brighter light with Linda. Adversities became a story to share with her friends. Her unfaltering care, love, and respect for Ken was an uplifting scene to observe. She will be missed and has been missed recently as her health deteriorated. There is a special place for wonderful individuals such as Linda. Goodbye my friend. Karen Butler

Linda's father and my father, served together in World War II, they were stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA. They both married WA gals and settled in Laramie when the war was over. Linda, my sister, Laurell Fogg, Nancy Trabing Mickelson, and myself won the state Dairy judging and won a trip to Waterloo Iowa for the National Finals Dairy judging. We were the only all girl team there. We had a really good time. I will always remember Linda for dedication to 4-H, her homemaking skills, and her friendship. My condolences to the family, she will be missed Jenelle

I met Ken and Linda in 1980's. In the 2000's they let me bunk on the couch when taking UWYO classes. Linda had a road trip and I thought I could help Ken with milking. He milked faster with 1 hand than I could with 2! Miss you Linda and thank you for always sharing your knowledge. The world's a better place with your kindness. Prayers to family.

Met Ken and Linda in September 1994 at the Colorado state fair. Our very first goat show. We both had Alpines. We would always watch to see if they where arriving at each goat show, so we could help them unload. Linda had a competitive spirit and even after checking every exhibitor in and it was late, she’d be clipping udders. You truly loved you goats and your goat family. Thinking of Linda’s family and so for your loss. She is missed.

I've known Linda for decades and always loved hearing about her champion dairy goats -- she could describe their personalities as if they were one of her grandchildren. I also bowled with Linda for years -- she could pick up the 5-6-10 split better than I ever could. I also loved viewing all her creations at the local craft shows. Rest in Peace dear friend. Rest in Peace. Betty Holmes

  • LaDonna Foley

Condolences to all of Linda's family. I first met Linda in 2005 through our shared love of dairy goats. Linda was always so supportive of our goat industry and youth members - spending countless hours volunteering, teaching others, and organizing community activities. Her cheery greetings at check-in tables throughout the region always let us know we were in the right place! Linda was a delight to talk with and we spent many hours chatting about animals, history, community service, and family. She has left a legacy of love, support, and community service with so many lives she has touched. Rest in peace, Linda.
