Saddened with the passing of Butch. A long time friend, he did work for me at my home and rewired the Laramie Plains Museum when we restored it in the 1990’s. Wonder job BGB. We often talked about his love for Keystone and the old John Stein cabin. He was a fine human being and always greeting me with a smile and a twinkle in his eye like you were just the person he was waiting to see. I’m sure many of his friends got the same reception. Eternal rest is now yours fine friend.

OMG I found out by accident looking for someone else in the OBITS and Butch came up. My sorrow to the Beman family, words cannot express, feelings. Leilani we think we know how you feel and are with you. We have not seen enough of you guys since moving to Laramie but now and then our paths would connect, and always good vists. For the family, your Dad, Leilani, and myself belong to a very special club. We are WESTIDERS from Laramie and we all still talk to each other. Last I must share a story which I remember to be true. Butch, with help from his brother Larry, had a 1947 Plymouth with a flatheat 6 cylender engine. They split the manafold and put on glasspact mufflers, added some carberation. I thought what were you thinking, this is a V8 world! Then I found out that Sucker would run. I MISS YOU BEMAN !

Our condolences to the Beman family. We were across the alley neighbors to Butch for 15 or so years when he lived on W Hill Road. Butch would drop everything to talk or to help us out. Of course, BGB gave lots of “Electrical TLC” to St. Laurence School, his alma mater! The gym lights are shining for a great man!
