Florence Mullen Aumiller

Florence Mullen Aumiller, 84, of Laramie, passed away October 24, 2015 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Florence was born November 14, 1930 in Kit Carson,Colorado to Phillip and Lottie (Kellogg) Mullen.  She married Nathan Aumiller on May 9, 1948 in Goodland, Kansas.

Florence was a member of the First Christian Church. She had served as a former board member, Deaconess, various church committees and several Bible Study groups. Florence retired from Albany County School District; starting her career in the Washington School cafeteria and then bookkeeper in the District office for Federal Programs.

She was a member of Laramie Rebekah Lodge #1, Odd Fellows Albany Lodge #7, Hope Unified Encampment #2, Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant Hancock #2, past AssemblyPresident Rebekah Assembly of Wyoming, Past President LAPM State of Wyoming and Thru the Valley Club.  Florence was also a member of Laramie Women’s Club and PEO Chapter AX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, Doris Murphy, Velma Murphy, Donna Smith and Esther Slawson, and four brothers, Vernon, Willard,Leon and Leonard Mullen.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Buddy) Howington of Evergreen, AL and Marilyn (Ed) Harper of Cheyenne, WY; her sister, Shirley (Paul) Moyer of Glendale, AZ;and her brothers, Melvin (Carol) Mullen of Brush, CO and Delmar (Dixie) Mullen of Flagler, CO; her four grandchildren, Wendy (Ray) Koivusaari, and Scott (Kristy) Foster all of Green River, WY and Ray Clark and Marnie (Brian) Ott all of Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, Dani, Toni, Abby, Zac, Madeson, Josh, Kayleena, Katelyn, Allen, Lauren and Kayde; and her several nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials ervice will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the First Christian Church with Pastor Mike Berry, officiating. Lodge Rites by theLaramie Rebekah Lodge #1.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home.
