Mom, I know we didn’t talk as much as we should have a regret I feel daily now your love stubbornness and over protectiveness helped make me the man I am today I miss your wisdom advice and the fun and laughter you brought to my life truth is I miss and love you

My heart goes out to Edie's family and friends, she will truly be missed by many. Edie took care of me my entire childhood, even though I didn't realize it when I was younger, she was a very special person to me. I will never forget her pb&j sandwiches, her huge cardboard boxes for us to make forts in or how you felt like the luckiest kid when you got naptime in her room with her Grover doll. When I got older she had amazing patience and humor teaching me to parallel park and was still always there when I just needed someone. Edie was an amazing woman that will always be loved and missed.

To Edie's family, I was so saddened to hear of Edie's passing. She befriended me forty + years ago when I was in desperate need of help. She has remained a wonderful friend this that time. I was so glad that she was able to meet my grandchildren, and to see what a wonderful person my daughter grew to be with her guidance. My whole family will miss talking with her and just being able to get an Edie hug. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and that I will miss her always. Cindy

To Edie's family, I am so saddened to hear of Edie's passing. She was so good to me forty + years ago when she took pity on a new single mom that needed a day care for her child. Since that day, she has been as special friend of mine and Leslies and we will never forget her or the joy that she has brought us over the years. I was so glad that she was able to meet my grandchildren and to see what a wonderful person my daughter grew to me, with her guidance. Dear Edie, know that you will always be in my heart and that I loved you.
