Cynthia is a special lady in my mind & heart. I met her when we both worked in the Hested's store. She managed the Fountain & Lunch Counter & I was the Store Bookkeeper. We worked together so well it was almost like synchronized, choreographed music & dance. We often joked about that & she was the merriest of all our employees, often spreading joy & fun when it was even far from holiday celebrations. Cynthia also showed me how to see the beauty in anyone, regardless how harsh another might look or act. Her gracious friendship still kept her on her " quick notion ", as she called it ... meaning she still had little respect for those who might choose to hurt others or make it their call to outwit law enforcement in dishonest, criminal ways. I could not believe her sutrengths under tough circumstances, though she rarely let down her determinations & refreshing methods she had in conquering "the wolf". To say the least, she's left this world with wonderful memories she provided in our behalf. Hard work was not her "middle name," as she said once while "mopping the floor for someone else's shine & glimmer"! We shared a lot of good times working together. We shared our love & respect for our dear Lord, God, & HIS son, Jesus Christ. We laughed away the unwelcome challenges, usually along with a hug. Though our paths carried us different directions in our work worlds, we often shared whatever we could when times allowed. My best drieams & memories are beautiful when she returns like breezes through her flowers, across her brow, & through her Angel's wings. I believe she is most welcomed by her friends & family in Heaven, plus my mother & grandparents, who waited for her glorious smile 'til one day God was ready, too. May all her family feel & know she was special on God's earth & that now she finds the beauty she's always deserved. Thank you for sharing her from your life, too. May you be blessed with memories she's always helped your life be as fun, decent, beholden, kind, & caring as was she! & caring as she was to others.

I met Cyndy when I belonged to TOPS. She was such a lovely woman with a beautiful laugh. I always tried to remember jokes to tell her just so I could hear her laugh. I hope all of you will have comfort in the coming days knowing she is resting comfortably. I won't be able to attend the service, but please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

To the Barnes family, Cyndy was such a loving and kind lady. She was a good friend of my mother as well as our immediate family. She touched many lives and she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Our deepest sympathies to your family in the coming days.
