On Tuesday, January 26, 2016 Christopher Henry Coley passed away at Denver Children’s Hospital surrounded by his family. Christopher was born on July 25, 1999 in Rawlins, WY. Christopher was the most extraordinary of children.  His pure innocence was evident through his laughter and love for all that came into his life.  Christopher had many special qualities that touched all with whom he met.  He loved balloons, music, dancing, when his Nana would sing to him, trips to the park, swimming, bath time and his many trips in the car. Rawlins was Christopher’s home for his first 14 years of life.  He attended Highland Hills Elementary School, Rawlins Middle School and Rawlins High School.  Christopher moved to Laramie in 2013 where he attended Laramie Jr. High school followed by the big move to the Sr. High school where he made so many friends.  He absolutely loved school, his teachers and paras and riding the bus! Christopher enjoyed swimming and bowling with Special Olympics and earned several medals. Driving around town with the boys in the truck was a favorite activity as well as spending time up at the cabin and riding the four-wheeler. Camping was fun for us, but we did not get any sleep! Christopher would not sleep due to laughing and giggling because he was bunking with the kids. Christopher loved spending time with his family more than anything. The bond he shared with his siblings is indescribable and everlasting. They watched movies, played, read stories and snuggled often. The kids could make Chris laugh harder than anyone and would do anything at any time to hear that laughter and see his smile.

Christopher is survived by his parents; Sylvia Madrid of Rawlins and Rick and Holly Gamroth of Laramie, Siblings, Linda Butler (Dan) of Saratoga, Connie Walz (Shane) of St. Clairesville, OH, Joseph Madrid and Eileen Madrid of Rawlins, Brendan, Taylor and Logan Gamroth of Laramie and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Christopher is proceeded in death by his father, Ruben Madrid.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00am at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home in Laramie, WY. A reception will be held in Christopher’s honor following the memorial service at the Moose Lodge.
