Christopher “Chino” Clymer

Christopher “Chino” Rex Clymer, life-long resident of Laramie passed away, Friday, February 19, 2016 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Christopher was born June 26, 1969 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.  He was the youngest son of Virgil and Belen Clymer. Christopher’s passing was the result of the progression of his diabetes.  As a young man Christopher worked with his father Virgil in the family business.

Christopher was an avid motorcyclist, and spent a great deal of time customizing his Harley Davidson.  He was passionate about cars. The family fondly remembers his talent as a team break dancer with friend Eddie.  As a young boy he raced BMX bikes, in high school, he was a member of the Laramie High School swim team and competed in dirt bike racing. He graduated from Laramie High School in 1987.  He was a long time member of the Laramie Bowling League.

At the time of his death Christopher was enrolled in a program with the United Association of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters.  Christopher was seeking a career change and was attending school in Denver, Colorado. He was enrolled in an apprenticeship program through the UAPP.

Christopher is survived by Oldest Brother Fred R. Clymer and Nephew Jeremy and great nephew, Julian; Sister Linda K. Clymer McGinnis and brother-in-law Pat McGinnis, and children John W., Veronica, great nieces and nephew, Kyle, Kalli, Kelsi, Keiana McGinnis and Odyssey Hewitt; Sister Rosemary Clymer Hahn- and Children, Jonathan, Kaylan, Lauren, Jordan, Mai-Lis and Jackson; great nieces and nephews Corbin, Keilen, Conner, Adalyn.

A public memorial service will not be held at this time.

We are praying for the family. I have many fond memories as kids. I remember the time Chris told us his parents had consented to him going fishing. They hadn’t.

We got our picture in the paper the next day and his parents found out.

Lots of fun times growing up.

To my best friend you will be greatly missed . We shared a lot of great times together, some good some bad . But there is nothing better then friendship . I will always remember those nights we cruised and then I look over to my passengers side you will always be there . RIP my friend, until me meet again . Enjoy your Mom and Dad in heaven….. I still was a better dancer too…
