I treasure my conversations with Carmin...We talked about our favorite books, travel, science, and life. Carmin bravely fought this disease and the love of Carmin's family sustained her during the hardest days. I remember visiting with Carmen at a back yard BBQ in Boulder. There I met her daughter and was touched by the way she cared for her mom. Now that the fight is over, may you ease your troubled mind sand shattered hearts with beautiful memories of Carmin. Warmly, Moni Fleshner and Peter Bowers

Aunt Carmen, Hearing of your passing was one of the most difficult days of my life. This is so incredibly hard. At a time you were the only one there for me. You meant more to me than you ever knew. I never got the chance in the last few years to tell you exactly how much you inspired me to never give up and fight for what was wanted out of life. Nothing comes easy or with out a price. I love you and thank you for loving me. Forever in my heart. I've been missing you greatly, now forever will. Rest in Peace
