Brian Lee Boeye, Jr., departed this life on January 18th, 2023. Brian was born on February 9, 1978, in Atlanta, Georgia, and is survived by his former wife, Rachel Darrough Boeye (Greeley, CO), two daughters, Mychaela and Cameron Boeye (Greeley, CO), his mother, Karen Roll (Marietta, GA), his father and stepmother, Brian and Priscilla Boeye (Waynesville, NC) and his brother, David Boeye (Acworth, GA). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

After graduating from Northville High School, Northville, Michigan, Brian enlisted in the United States Air Force and served two tours of duty in the Middle East, one prior and one after the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001.

After service in the Air Force, Brian trained as a paramedic, earning his Basic Emergency Medical Tech, Intermediate Emergency Medical Tech, and finally, his Advanced Emergency Medical Tech certifications. Brian was a gifted teacher and often had a couple of newbies trailing after him.

Brian was the ultimate team player; he recognized that a team is stronger than the sum of its parts. It did not matter to Brian whether he was a “worker bee” or in a leadership position and his teammates loved him for it.

More than anything, Brian loved his daughters, Mychaela and Cameron, and was so very proud of each and every accomplishment. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting contributions to a trust that is being set up for their benefit.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 Friday, January 27, 2023 at the VFW Post #4343, 3216 S Greeley Highway Cheyenne, WY.
